1-2 tbspextra virgin olive oil
1shishito or jalapeño peppersliced, (optional)
1/2tspsaltor salt to taste
Instructions
Use a damp paper towel to clean the mushrooms
Cut mushrooms into large bite-size pieces
Bring stove to medium-high heat then drizzle extra virgin olive oil into a large sauté pan
Allow the oil to heat for a minute prior to adding the sliced pepper
After about a minute, add the mushrooms (don't overcrowd!)
Keep them moving by tossing or stirring them to avoid burning

Notes
Using medium high heat allows the liquid to cook off quick enough to achieve the golden-brown color. Pepper is optional. Remember, if you add the pith and/or seeds, it increases the spice!
